Anna Wintour, where did you come from?
Dark glasses, pageboy bob haircut, tightly clenched lips without a smile. Who´s sitting in the front row of the catwalk, stone-faced evaluating the latest fashion trends? It is both loved and hated editor of perhaps the most famous fashion magazine. Anna Wintour is primarily a strict boss, feminist and fashion dictator. In the movie The Devil Wears Prada, the oscar actress Meryl Streep portrayed her really well, in the September Issue she tells her story personally. Do you know, where did her journey start? Anna claims that the career in the fashion industry was chosen for her by father. He arranged her work in the influential Biba boutique when she was fifteen. A year later she chucked up study in North London Collegiate. Similarly ended up her training in Harrod's. "You either know fashion or you don't.", she claimed. As a journalist she started working for English Harper's & Queen. She knew already, that she wants to be in the lead of Vogue. After several issues in some British and American magazines she finally became its creative director. Firstly she succeeded in home country and later in the United States. She reformed the envelope, changed the target group and brought more lifestyle to strictly fashion paper. She fired many employees who said that as a boss she is totally unbearable. A better word would perhaps be uncompromising.
What do you think, would Anna approve the new collections in FRESHSTYLESTORE ?
