The luxury of Paris Couture Week 2015
Paris has become a melting pot again. I'm not talking only about the high temperatures, but also about the exclusive exhibitions of the selected fashion houses called Paris Couture Fall-Winter 2015. If you are going to prom this year and you want to find some inspiration among the best, you are on the right place.
Creative director of the Dior fashion house Raf Simons put emphasis on all-over prints and contrast materials. It looks like we´re going to wear oversize jackets and coats again.
The show of Ilja Couture demonstrated strict minimalism and geometry. A special marble design was applied at several pieces and it was like an icing on the cake.
Jean Paul Gaultier once again stuck to the good old stripes. However, he dug also to the more oriental waters. You can see it on the hats and golden ornamental embroidery.
Serkan Cura loves animal themes. He remained faithful to them in his latest collection. Feathers, fur and transparent materials, Serkan is simply wild.
In the atelier of Donatella Versace it looks as if she´s preparing the spring collection. Pastel robes, close fitting silhouette and flowers brightened the catwalk. But why not? There´s never enough of femininity.
